Group Rides

Is your group or organization hosting a ride? If so, be sure to let us know as early as possible so we can add your ride to our list below. Give us the date, time, meeting place, who an interested rider may contact and any other details you can provide. If you limit the bikes (just Harleys, or just Star Motorcycles for instance) be sure to let us know about that as well. If it's a fundraiser, give us some details on the cause... We'll do our best to raise awareness of your event. E-mail us at icreswell@coolbikerides.com.

Hidden Hills Mystery Ride - This is a fundraiser that's held in Southwick, MA each year in honor of a young lady I knew personally. She died at a very young age and her folks have helped organize a fund raiser each year for as long as I can remember. The 2007 event was a great deal of fun, though a little cool and damp. As soon as the details of the 2008 event are announced, we'll be sure to post them here. They are generally held on the first Sunday after Labor day so be sure to include this one in your plans! Here's a link to their website: hiddenhillsmysteryride.com.

If you stay on top of the news, you probably heard about the NIU tragedy where five people were killed and eighteen others were wounded by a gunman. I have a good friend in the Chicago area who sent me a recent e-mail. His college roomate was related to one of the victims. He and his two of his cousins wrote a song that they performed at Gayle's memorial service. It was so well received they've decided to make it available on-line for $1.00. The proceeds from this will be donated to Gayles favorite charity. For more info, click here...

TOW (Tuesdays on Wheels) - This was a suggestion by one of the regulars in the Cool Bike Rides forums. This is a group of riders who will hook up at a pre-set establishment on Tuesday evenings for a bite to eat and a nice, pre-planned ride! We have created a new page (use the link above) to highlight the TOW rides so you can plan accordingly. If you would like to organize a ride in your area, contact us at icreswell@coolbikerides.com so we can announce it. There's no limit as to where or how many riders, or how many different TOW rides are going on at once so use your imagination!
