2004 Yahama V-star Classic - This bike looks and rides much bigger than it is. Now it lacks the power of your larger bikes but it's still a great ride. If you're under 6' tall, this is a great bike to get started on. The styling is awesome with nice paint and plenty of chrome. I'd recommend this to anyone who's just starting out that is looking for a beautiful, afforable motorcycle to learn on. We've received compliments from all types of riders including some Harley "Die Hards". We liked this ride so much that we purchased another V-star this fall.

Yamaha V-Star 1100 Custom 1999-2009
I was tired of my stock seat on my 1999 Yamaha V-star Custom 1100 and decided it was time for an upgrade. I asked around and was given several different suggestions. My wife's uncle is a HD Mechanic in Pensecola, FL and I highly respect his opinion. When he insisted on the Mustang I decided that was the one to try.
I wasn't dissapointed! We arrived home from a trip to Maine late one evening to a large box in the living room. The seat was on by 7:00 AM the next morning. Now it was a little late in the season so I didn't get any really long rides in but the riding I did had me asking "where has this thing been all my life?"
The seat is firm and extremely comfortable. The adjustable rider backrest is a great addition and easily removable. For in town riding, I leave it in my bag. I'll use it for those longer runs. The passenger seat sits much higher than the original seat and the lumbar support is higher as well. These two in combination make for great support for the shorted rides.
One word of caution, if you're already stretching to reach the ground, the thicker seat may make reaching it just a little to much.
All in all, this was a fantastic buy. Though the MRSP is a bit high, if you search the web carefully, you may be able to find it for a much better price. I paid roughly $570.00 for mine...
